Man, that was a fun party. Reeta made banana bread (something she seems to say she's going to do a lot, but never seems to have time to do), and I helped (which is probably what sealed the deal). I was not a bit surprised by how well Reeta did. She held her own fairly well against not only law students but hardcore gamers alike. I was (while not surprised) impressed.
I really am a lucky so and so to have her in my life. I don't share this a lot, but when Reeta and I went on our first date, everything went surprisingly well. Amazingly well. Disturbingly well. I had never had a date go that well before in my entire life. And that night, as I was saying my prayers, I asked if this was something I should follow up on. And the wierdest thing happened. I got the very distinct feeling that this was the stupidest question God had gotten all night, but He was going to answer it anyway, because it seemed like I really needed the help. Essentially it was a gentle but loving "Um...Yes". And that's when I knew that I was going to spend the rest of my life with her.
I drive her nuts with my obsessive gaming, my tantrums, my occasional whiny attitude, my fascination with cartoons (although now she watches Naruto with me), and she's always been there for me, and she puts up with me. Most of the time she's rather polite about it. ^.^' I honestly wouldn't be the guy I am today without her. We should all be so lucky as to have someone like that looking out for us.
