Wednesday

It was a day like any other...

Poor Claire.
She woke up in the middle of the night last night with pain in her legs. This happens occasionally - Reeta and I think it's growing pains. That being the case, it doesn't change the fact that it's still my little girl crying in the night because it hurts. :( Poor thing. She's sleeping late this morning, which is a good thing.
Reeta and I took the kids up to our exercise room last night so Reeta and I could exercise, and the kids could jump in the hot tub when we were done. Unfortunately, when we got there, we found that the hot tub had been emptied for cleaning. Those kids were dis-a-poin-ted. Poor kids. So, they came back to the house and took a hot bath (a poor substitute for the hot tub, I grant you). Reeta did that for them while I worked my lower body and abs. Here's an indication of how incredibly out of shape I am. After my abs exercises (which I probably overdid), last night I found that I could not sit up in bed without the support of my arms. Likewise this morning. I can't even cough properly. Also, you know how your muscles feel kind of rubbery and weak after a good workout? The exercise room is at the top of a long flight of stairs. Then you have to walk down the hill to the apartment. One of these days, I'm going to take a tumble down those stairs, and that'll be it for me.

However, because it was lower body that I was working last night, it meant that my hands were free for FFT:A. I'm now 27 hours in, and lamenting the fact that I never really read the instructions. ;)
